Eid Moon Sighted in Pakistan.

Every year Ruet-e-hilal committee meeting is conducted to sight the moon. Like every year, this meeting is being chaired by Mufti Muneeb ur Rehmam who is the one that makes the announcements every year.

But wait, what's a chand raat without any drama right? lol.

Earlier today, Federal minister for science and technology Fawad Chaudhry had said that Eid ul Fitr will be celebrated in the country on Sunday (24th May 2020) according to calculation made by his
ministry.

Addressing a news briefing in Islamabad, he said his ministry wanted to end the conflict over moon-sighting by relying on technology, adding that he rejected notions that technology should not be involved in moon sighting.

        "Islam is a religion of knowledge and intellect, Whoever says technology should not be  involved in moon sighting, we reject their perspective. When you wear glasses, this is technology. How can you say if I see with glasses, it is halal but if I see through telescope, it is haram?" he questioned.

This is the latest news that mufti muneeb ur rehman has announced Eid on Sunday, May 24th (tomorrow). So, Eid Mubarak to all of people who are reading this. This is confirmed news that Eid will be celeberated across the Muslim World (including Pakistan) tomorrow.
