SONY TO RELEASE PS4 PUBLIC BETA FIRMWARE 9.0

Sony Interactive Entertainment has started sending out email invites to PS4 public beta firmware 9.0 as many people are reporting.

According to peoples, the PS4 beta firmware 9.0 implements the following additions for Sony’s ageing workhorse:

 

• You can now view PS5 trophies on PS4
• Messages: If you’re the owner of a group, you can now delete messages in it
• If you block someone, you can now select if you want to leave the group only you and the other player are in
• If a child requests communication-functions from a game, the parent will get a notification via the PS4-system and the PlayStation app.
